The sweater is worked top-down in stockinette stitch with bold stripes. You start by knitting a portion of the back yoke, then each shoulder is worked separately, and finally the pieces are joined so that the sleeves and yoke are worked at the same time. Both the body and sleeves are finished with an elegant Italian bind-off.

About the sizes
The sizes are based on a recommended positive ease of 18–20 cm, which should be added to your actual bust measurement to choose the correct size. Sizes XL, 2XL, and 3XL have slightly less ease, ranging from 5–12 cm.

The model in the photo has a bust measurement of 83 cm and is wearing size XS, which gives a 22 cm positive ease. The full length of the sweater in this size is approximately 56 cm, measured at the center back, excluding the neckline.
