My name is Marita Harvey, and you'll find me preferably with a knittingproject in my hands and a cup of coffee next to me! For me, knitting is a haven where I find peace after a busy everyday life with three small children and everything else that comes with it. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was little, and since then I have had a great urge to create and a need to find an outlet for my inner creativity - either in the form of drawing/painting or knitting. And the latter has become quite a nerd in the last couple of years. I love learning new techniques, and creating garments that make people say, "Gee, I thought it was store-bought!". I hope to be able to inspire others to find the knitting needles, and realize that it's actually not that difficult - it's mostly about a knit and a purl stitch! And if you can knit and purl, you can create a lot of nice things.
