The cardigan is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with bold stripes. First, a portion of the back is worked, then both shoulders are worked before everything is joined together, allowing the sleeves and yoke to be worked simultaneously. Eventually, the sleeves and body are separated, and all edges are finished with 1x1 ribbing and an elegant Italian bind-off. Finally, a neat button band with 6 buttons is worked.

About the sizes
The sizes are based on a positive ease of 18–22 cm, which you add to your actual bust measurement to find the correct size. Sizes XL, 2XL, and 3XL have a smaller ease, between 5–13 cm.

The model in the photo has a bust measurement of 83 cm (the cardigan has 24 cm of positive ease compared to the bust) and is wearing size XS with a full length of 62 cm measured from the center back. Each stripe is worked over 25 rows, except for the last one, which is worked over 21 rows. The cardigan is knitted using one strand of Jensen Yarn held together with one strand of Silk Mohair, both from Isager Yarn, in the following colors:
